PTI Challenge - Paint by number sketch
Well, PTI has done it yet again! Made me stay up until the witching hours of the night card making! LOL!
In celebrating the February/3rd Anniversary of PTI release, Nichole has issued some challenges. The prize? Why, PTI product of course! Worth every minute I'm not sleeping that's for sure!!!
Today's challenge was the sketch below.

Based on our username on the PTI forum, our color palatte was chosen for us but we had free reign as to how the colors were placed.

Here's my take on this challenge...

Paper: Kraft, Stampers Select White, Enchanted Evening, Bitty Box Basics in Spring Rain (all PTI)
Stamps: Sentiment (Favor It Baby - PTI), Star (2008 Holiday Tag Collection - PTI)
Ink: Sentiment (Enchanted Evening - PTI), Star (Breeze - CTMH), Ranger Distressing Inks in Antique Linen and Walnut Stain
Ribbon: Twill in Aqua Mist (PTI)
Button: White/Cream (PTI)
Other: Fiskars border punch (Upper Crest), Charm/Buckle (???)
I hope you like it! It was fun to make! I have 2 girls so doing a boy card was another GREAT challenge for me... I took a step out of my box I'm usually so content and cozy in! :)

Random projects
I'm not going to list all of the supplies used but if you would like specifics, please leave me a comment and I'll get back to you! Lots and lots of stuff here and it is in no particular order....
Thank you card

Sympathy card

Ornaments for Mia's preschool class. I kept them VERY simple so that Mia could help as much as possible. Plus the paper was pretty enough to just leave it alone.

Gifts for Mia's preschool teachers. I forgot to take a picture of the completely assembled box but I used the sheer aqua ribbon that you see in the back tied in a bow with a couple of tiny ornament around the sheer green ribbon. I filled the boxes with a chocolate candy assortment. It was SOOO pretty!

An ornament I altered for a friend.
For a card swap.
Papertrey Ink sponsered CPS Sketch 153
A sweet little thank you that I made this morning since I couldn't sleep. *sigh* I HATE it when that happens! Thank goodness CPS and PTI had a challenge for me!
This is TOTALLY out of my comfort zone... I'm an A2 card maker, ALWAYS, so going square AND incorporating a tri-fold (something I have never done before but LOVED the result!) was a bit overwhelming until I got going on it. Then it all just seemed to fall into place!

Ohhhhh Corrine!!! This one's for you!
This is what I have done so far...
I made 4 of this kind, even though you only wanted 3... I can always use birthday cards! So, pick which 3 are your favorites.
The colors are kind of hard to see so I'll explain them the best I can... All of the cupcakes have glitter frosting... YUM!
White card base, hot pink ink and button and red ruffled ribbon.

Cream card base with an aqua bow and button and a buttery yellow ink and ruffled ribbon.

Cream card base with an olive green button and ruffled ribbon, a melon bow and ink

Light grey card base with a light blue button and dark blue ruffled ribbon and ink.

A dear friend got married yesterday so I whipped up a set of "thank you's" as a gift that coordinated with the wedding invites I made for her. I hope she likes them!
Here is the card I made along with the gift set all put together.
I forgot to take a picture of the thank you before I packaged it all up so there is a bit of a glare coming off of the packaging. I LOVE how these turned out!!! SOOOO elegant!!! The black band of ribbon at the bottom is velvet... SO RICH!
